Founded in 1958, the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) is the oldest and largest national association of runners and running organizations dedicated to growing the sport of running.
The RRCA champions the development of community-based running clubs and events that serve runners of all ages and abilities in pursuit of health and competition.
The RRCA’s vision is to see an organized running club and events established in every community in the U.S.
Running USA is a tax-exempt, not-for-profit organization devoted to improving the status and experience of distance running and racing in the United States through collective marketing and promotions, information and communications within the industry and to the national media, services to events and industry members, and the development of American world class stars. It seeks the advancement of the sport and the provision of value to each of its members’ events and businesses.
Road Race Managment
Since 1982, Road Race Management has been the industry’s leading resource for the dissemination of information and exchange of ideas among those who produce running events of all sizes. Their publications, website and meetings have helped educate thousands of race officials over the years.
American Trail Running Association
The American Trail Running Association, ATRA, was formed in mid-1996 as a Colorado not for profit corporation to serve the mountain, ultra & trail (MUT) running community. Their mission is to represent and promote mountain, ultra & trail running. Offering individual, club, race and corporate memberships. Their newsletter includes a national events calendar, thoughtful articles, and timely information about trail running in America.
